The iconic Freshwater club Harbord Diggers has reached a huge milestone in its historic redevelopment, with excavators reaching the lowest point of the new development.
“With demolition works now complete and major excavation well progressed, we are looking forward to commencing stage one of building works soon,” said Dale Hunt, General Manager of Harbord Diggers.
“Now that we’ve reached the lowest level of our new site – which will become the new basement carpark – the only way to go from here is up!
“Those who have been following our progress will soon be able to see real transformation taking place on the site as the future Harbord Diggers precinct comes to life,” added Mr Hunt.
The future Harbord Diggers precinct will provide the Northern Beaches community with a state of the art hospitality and entertainment venue that serves all generations and caters to a range of community interests.
In addition to excellent restaurants, bars and outdoor dining areas, the new development will boast a world-class fitness, aquatic and wellness centre, a long day care childcare centre and luxury living apartments, Watermark Freshwater.
“The site has already undergone a huge transformation since we commenced works in April this year but despite appearances, we want to remind our members and guests that we are still open for business as usual,” continued Mr Hunt.
“If you haven’t already, make sure you pay a visit to Harbord Diggers and experience our brand new temporary club venue – it’s a small taste of things to come,” he added.
