More traditional wedding backdrops include the beach, beautiful gardens or historic buildings but there is increasing interest in more unusual settings for wedding shots.

Here on the Northern Beaches there are a few potential backdrops with a difference:

Covered. photo shoot was held at the Belgrave Cartel,  in Belgrave Street, Manly. The back courtyard and interior of the café/restaurant provided a stunning backdrop to our bride and groom.

Get married and have your reception and photos at Manly Sea Life Sanctuary in Manly. The aquatic venue can cater for various sized weddings. In 2006 a couple wore masks and exchanged vows in the main tank among the sharks, turtles and stingrays. A celebrant sitting at the side of the tank, officiated the ceremony and a safety diver kept an eye on proceedings while acting as a ring bearer.

For wedding photographs with a colourful, edgy vibe there is the backdrop of the graffiti wall by renowned local artist David Lineham and international street artist Peque, off Sydenham Road, in the laneway next to BA Printing & Publishing, in Brookvale. Contact Troy on 0414 444 453.
